Since its debut in 2011, the Diavel brought the Ducati name before a new audience.
These were the riders who didn’t quite want the laid-back style of a cruiser, or the high performance of a sport standard. The Diavel helped fill this void, and en route it became another offering in the power-cruiser market alongside motorcycles like the Yamaha V-Max and the Harley-Davidson V-Rod.
The bike remained relatively unchanged until the 2015 model was unveiled this week at Ducati’s parent company’s Volkswagen Group Night show in Geneva.
The new Ducati Diavel, which is also available in the Carbon model, has received a few upgrades, including the addition of the newest version of the Tesastretta 11-degree DS engine, LED highlights and a new exhaust.
Shortly after the debut, Ducati released its latest video, titled “New Ducati Diavel. Don’t Call it a Cruiser.”
