Italian luxury carmaker Maserati Tuesday said it has launched the latest edition of Quattroporte in India with price starting at Rs 1.74 crore (ex-showroom India). The Maserati Quattroporte is part of a story that dates back over 100 years. The saga involves the story of endurance, embracing challenge, and of going the distance and winning.
The 2019 Quattroporte’s GranLusso version is priced at Rs 1.74 crore while the Gransport version is tagged at Rs 1.79 crore. The model comes fitted with 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel engine mated to an eight-speed ZF gearbox.
The 2019 edition of Quattroporte comes with new colours, wheel designs and interior veneers, redesigned gearshift lever and Pieno Fiore natural leather interiors.
In 1963, Maserati made a remarkably bold move, introducing the first ever luxury sports sedan. It took a successful V8 motor racing engine, fitted it to a beautifully designed luxury sedan and then proudly presented its creation to the world. This was the fastest sedan in the world at that time, thereby giving the birth to the legendary Quattroporte.
Quattroporte’s principles remain much the same, as the 2019 Quattroporte offers abundant, elegantly crafted space, besides offering the sculpted styling, undeniably aggressive yet eternally graceful. It has all the evocative power you would expect from Maserati.
The 2019 Quattroporte’s GranLusso version is offered in GranLusso and GranSport trims, each comprehensively equipped with according to your precise personal wishes.
For 2019 the Maserati Quattroporte is available with various customisation options. These include two new ‘Tri Coat’ colours for the exterior — called Rosso Potente (Maserati’s nomenclature for the iconic Ferrari Red) and Blu Nobile — apart from the 10 exterior colour options and two wheel sizes of 20 and 21 inches.
