Mahindra launches the Alturas G4, a luxury SUV to redefine the high-end SUV segment.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) has recently introduced its high-end SUV, the Alturas G4, in the Indian market.
This is the one of the most expensive car from the Mahindra Group and possibly the most premium one by any Indian automobile brand till now.
It has Bold designing with chrome front grille, HID headlamps with LED DRLs, diamond cut alloy wheels, LED fog lamps with cornering lamps, LED tail lamps and dual tone roof rails.
Luxurious tan and black interiors with quilted Nappa leather upholstery, award-winning ergonomic seat design, Easy Access Mode, Memory Profile for Driver seat & ORVM, Dual Zone Fully Automatic Temperature Control, Ambient Mood Lighting, Ventilated front seats and Electric Sunroof.
The all new Mahindra Alturas G4, which is sold as SsangYong Rexton G4 in South Korea, is powered by a 2.2 litre diesel engine mated to 7-speed automatic transmission.
Advanced high-tech features like 3D Around View Camera system, Smart Powered Tailgate, 20” Touchscreen Infotainment system with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, a 7” 3-mode TFT LCD cluster, Electronic Parking Brake with auto-hold and auto-tilting ORVMs when in reverse.
Powerful 2.2 litre, 4-cylinder engine producing 133.1 kW (178 BHP) of power and 420 Nm of torque. It comes with the Mercedes-Benz 7- speed Automatic Transmission in both variants.
Alturas G4, which is Rexton G4 of Ssangyong, a Mahindra subsidiary, will be available at Mahindra dealerships across India starting November 26 at an introductory price of ₹26.95 lakh (all India ex-showroom) for the 2WD variant and ₹29.95 lakh for the four wheel drive.

Goenka said also about sales target of the company for this new premium SUV, that they are eyeing 10-15 per cent market share of the premium SUV segment which is pegged at around 4,500 units per month.
These outlets will be equipped with ultra-modern digital technology to provide an enhanced and immersive high-end experience for customers, Goenka said.
This high end SUV Model will give tough competition to Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, Skoda Kadiaq, Hyundai Santa Fe, Isuzu MU-X, Honda CR-V and Volkswagen Tiguan and a host of luxury cars in this segment.
Mahindra has made separate space at its dealerships showrooms for the retailing of this vehicle and a relationship manager will be provided to each Alturas G4 owner for personalised service. The company plans to sell 500 cars every month and is expecting to grab 10-12% of the segment in next one year.
The Alturas G4 would be exclusively available through separate high-end showrooms within the existing Mahindra dealerships.
